SUBMITTING A PSA
Public Service Announcements (PSAs) are an important way for KWDC students and staff to serve the Stockton Community. We air PSAs to engage with our listening audience, inform the public and assist local non-profit organizations to get the word out.
Local non-profits often receive little exposure from commercial media. KWDC is designed to be a working lab for broadcasting students. As such, we not only accept PSAs, but we are eager to produce them.
Please follow these guidelines to increase the likelihood that we will produce your PSA.
PSAs that focus on programs, services or information local to Stockton, California and its surrounding communities are more likely to be featured- especially those relevant to Delta College students.
Include all the necessary information like the who, what, where, when and why.
Do not include prices. We can't mention prices in our announcements but we can tell people where to obtain ticket information.
Add phonetic pronunciation for words or names that are uncommon.
- Include the name and phone number of a contact person for us to clarify information with.
- Include the dates you would like the PSA to begin airing and when it should stop airing.
